Character design - Elijah

This is a character I designed for a contest for an Animation/Gaming convention. The theme was high fantasy so I thought it would be fun to divert from the norm of high fantasy. When you think of High fantasy, you think of really beautiful, tall elegant elves, with cool looking staffs and stuff. I thought it'd be cool to have gnome who is rustic looking as he travels through the wilderness, trying to find cool treasures.
