Character Design - Spike

This is my Character Spike, for my interactive comic. I wanted Spike to be the opposite of Maxxie. While Maxxie is fun loving, outgoing and bubbly, I wanted Spike to be crude, standoffish and a massive jerk. I thought it'd be fun to have the opposite of maxxie as one of the main characters.

I based Spike off the character Edward Elric from Full metal alchemist since he is kinda a jerk too. One of the main features of Edward is his automail arm and leg due to his limbs being missing. I wanted Spike to have an arm missing too, but instead of being gone due to a tragic accident, I wanted spike to simply be born without it.

Out of all my designs, Spike is my favorite! I don't know, maybe I just designed him to be really cool to me?
